If you are selling your condominium unit, Washington State law requires you to give a Resale Certificate to the prospective buyer. The purpose of the Certificate is to give the buyer pertinent details about your association - its finances, insurance, governing documents, etc. - so s/he can make an informed decision about buying your unit. Your buyer's purchase agreement is voidable by the buyer until the Certificate has been provided and for five days thereafter or until conveyance, whichever occurs first.
